Greenwood Forest Elementary welcomes all of our parents and community members to volunteer and get involved in any way possible. Parents are invited to join the PTO as well as sign up to be a volunteer on our campus. We understand that at times it can be difficult to come to the campus to volunteer, but you would still like to help. If this describes you, you can still contribute to our campus by collecting Box Tops for Education and sending them to the school.
PTO Programs & Fundraising
Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and /or support: Fall Family Festival, Veterans Day, Santa Shop, Spring Festival, holiday parties, teacher appreciation, field day, and various other fundraisers and activities throughout the year.

As you can see, we are a small and busy group. This is where you can come in! We need your help, and so does your child(ren). A special thanks to all of our volunteers from last year for all of their hard work and dedication! Here at Greenwood Forest, we strive for excellence, and what better way than to become involved today. We are in need of growth and are seeking volunteers to continue reestablishing the organization. We have planned some exciting events this year in hopes to get more parents involved in their children’s education. The PTO is a team effort and we cannot succeed on our own. Please come and join us!
